 Namaala E. Liebenthal is a Corporate Attorney specializing in environmental, green, and sustainable development. With a legal career that began at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York City, she has managed transactions exceeding US$25 billion. After moving to Zambia 19 years ago, she has focused on providing financing solutions within a social impact framework, advising on sustainable finance projects such as reforestation and conservation farming. Ms. Liebenthal serves as a Director on the Board of Grassroots Trust Zambia, a non-profit dedicated to natural resource management. She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia and is a member of both the Zambian Bar and the New York State Bar.  

 Mwembe Sichula is a development finance professional with over eight years of experience at the Development Bank of Zambia (DBZ). He specializes in project finance, climate finance, and sustainable development, collaborating with institutions like the Green Climate Fund (GCF), World Bank, and African Development Bank (AfDB). As Principal Investment Officer at DBZ, he led the bank's accreditation to the GCF, making it Zambia’s first Direct Access Entity. Mwembe managed the World Bank-funded Electricity Services Access Project (ESAP), focused on enhancing rural energy access through renewable energy. He developed DBZ’s Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS) to ensure compliance with international standards. Mwembe holds a BEng from the University of Birmingham, an MBA, and a Master of Development Finance from the University of Cape Town, and is a Certified Climate and Renewable Energy Finance Expert.

 Chilambwe Lwao has over 24 years of experience in private sector development, green finance, and international development. Throughout his career, he has excelled in establishing long-term stakeholder relationships and influencing decision-making within diverse settings. Chilambwe has successfully secured funding from major institutions such as the African Development Bank, China Development Bank, and the Saudi Fund, and has been instrumental in designing and managing projects across Africa.

Notable achievements include co-leading Zambia's first accreditation to the Green Climate Fund (GCF), structuring an Off-Grid Renewable Energy Line of Credit for SMEs with World Bank support, and managing EU-funded climate projects across Eastern and Southern Africa. He also oversaw significant private sector development initiatives, including a €15 million capacity-building project and the €30 million

Mining Sector Diversification Program. His work has been pivotal in delivering over €100 million in funding for projects aimed at improving Zambia’s private sector environment. He is a Certified Development Finance Analyst (CDFA) under the Chartered Institute of Development Finance (CIDEF) in South Africa. Academically, he graduated from the University of Zambia with a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) Geomatics degree, a Masters of Philosophy (MPhil) in Development Finance from the University of Stellenbosch Business School  

Jordan Lutangu is a legal professional specializing in Corporate and Commercial Law. She holds a Master of Laws in Public International Law from the University of Lusaka and is a member of the Zambian Bar and the Law Association of Zambia. With a certificate from the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) in sustainability reports and standards, she effectively addresses green matters.

Jordan's expertise includes corporate advisory and commercial transactions, where she focuses on integrating sustainable practices into corporate entities. She has conducted legal research and drafted contracts that incorporate environmental considerations, ensuring compliance with legal standards and promoting positive corporate governance.
